After much deliberation, the Trustees of Root Institute for Wisdom Culture have passed a resolution to close and discontinue Tara Children's Project (TCP) as of June 30, 2018.
TCP came into operation in 2009 with the intention of providing comprehensive care to orphaned children and children living with HIV. We feel extremely fortunate that we got the opportunity to serve the TCP children to the best of our ability with loving-kindness and compassion.
Over the years and despite our unremitting efforts, we have consistently struggled to obtain adequate support from local and state government to obtain the necessary support to ensure professional quality care to work effectively with children. We finally realized that the most compassionate ways we can benefit these children is to explore other highly-qualified and well-established homes that have the professional skills, expertise, and care to serve and care for children Is compassion.
It has been an emotional and challenging time for all of us with our priority to ensure the well being of children during this transition. However, we are very happy to inform that children without parents have been transferred to the Home of Hope which is part of the Kalvari Chapel Trust - a professional, fully registered organization located near Varanasi and the river Mirzapur AIDS is committed to serving children. Ganges. Their large, beautiful complex houses a boy and a girl, including some animals, including a pond with some animals, rabbits, dogs and fish. The children are settled, and seem to be happy. The guardians, of the children they have, have also been informed about the new house and the steps required to move their child.
While we are no longer accepting donations for TCP, a fund is being created from donations received to help each child with their educational, vocational and medical needs.
Thank you so much for the friendship, kindness and support of TCP over the years. We rejoice in all the qualities created and we dedicate it to the welfare and quick knowledge of all these children, and children everywhere.
Please feel free to reach Wayne Tenzin Paldron, director of the Root Institute for Wisdom Culture, with further questions.
