Maitreya School – Sponsorship

For about 80¢ per day, you help implement solutions that ensure children have the education and resources needed to make their lives successful and meaningful. You will help train and improve the well-being of the Maitreya School children, empowering them to build a better world for generations to come.
Where does your money go

Books and all educational materials, school uniforms and sweaters, to buy a nutritious breakfast every day, as well as a portion of normal expenses such as teachers' salaries, utilities, transportation and maintenance costs.

Total Sponsorship Request

Schooling cost of 1 child for 1 year: US $ 300.

If you wish to commit to sponsorship, we will ask you to make a minimum payment of US $ 25 per calendar month.

Maitreya School – 5-year wish list


Within 1 year:
5 hot fans standing for summers
Water filter for clean drinking water
Sound system for morning assembly and special program
First aid facility
Within 2 years:
Classrooms to be painted
Long and thick mattress for assembly hall
Library resources (mainly in Hindi but also in English)
Within 3 years:
Desk and bench for 400 children (400 new children are expected to be consumed within 3 years)
Design playground for children
Computers: 15 more computers
Within 4 years:
Building parking station near the gate
Television for classroom educational programming
Within 5 years:
Creating and adding classes up to class 10 or 12
